National Education Association:
  • The NEA Foundation supports a variety of efforts by teachers, education support professionals, and higher education faculty and staff to improve student learning in the nation's public schools, colleges, and universities.
  • For the past five years, the National Education Association (NEA) has worked with Instructional Technology Services to provide and promote quality online professional development for NEA members nationwide. My Education Connection will provide ready access to quality professional development at an affordable cost. This project has the potential to make a significant impact on public education through programs for new teachers and staff in high-poverty, high-priority schools.


Michigan Education Association:
  • The Michigan Education Association (MEA) is a self-governing education association, representing more than 157,000 teachers, faculty and education support staff throughout the state. MEA is committed to creating and maintaining an effective education system that: Supports the development of successful, empowered students; advances the principles of democracy, human and civil rights; meets the needs of our global society; and improves the quality of life for all.
  • For the past year, the Michigan Education Association (MEA) has been working with Instructional Technology Services to provide and promote quality online professional development for MEA members. These programs would be open to the State of Michigan's 88,000 teachers as well as educational support personnel statewide. This will potentially have the strongest impact on public education in our country, especially in high priority schools and with new teachers.


Maine Education Association:
  • Maine Education Association (MEA) is a unified, democratic professional organization advocating for its 25,000 members while inspiring them to be leaders in the educational process. The MEA is leading the way to great public schools in the state of Maine.
  • Maine Education Association (MEA) and Instructional Technology Services (ITS) has been working to provide and promote quality online development for MEA members. These programs would be open to the State of Maine's 20,000 teachers as well as educational support personnel statewide. With ITS and MEA we will provide ready access to quality professional development at an affordable cost.


Michigan Society of Association Executives:
  • The Michigan Society of Association Executives (MSAE) is a not-for-profit membership organization that serves similar organizations in a variety of managerial and staff specialist roles. MSAE focuses its resources on the professional development needs of its members. Partnerships offer the opportunity of strengthening the association industry and investing in the future of not-for-profits in Michigan.
  • Instructional Technology Services, Inc. partnered with MSAE to provide its' members with online education modules. ITS, Inc. attended MSAE's ORGPRO 2007 in Frankenmuth, Michigan to video tape the session "Advanced Marketing to Gen X & Trailing-edge Boomers" by Suzanne Kart, M.A. ITS, Inc. will create an online training module that MSAE will be able to offer to members from the presented information on video clips taken at the session. Michigan Dental Association:
  • The Michigan Dental Association (MDA) is a not-for-profit professional association of dentists in Michigan. MDA focuses its resources on the public's oral health ethics, science and professional advancement of its members.
  • Instructional Technology Services, Inc. partnered with MDA to provide its' members with online professional development opportunities. Courses are available online today. Participants can study at their own pace and there are no expensive books to buy. Click here for more information


Michigan Works! Association:
  • Michigan Works! Association (MW!A) comprises Michigan's workforce development system and workforce development programs. The Michigan Works! System is a comprehensive workforce development system composed of federal and state-funded programs to prepare people for jobs and careers so employers have the skilled workers they need to be competitive in our global economy.
  • ITS, Inc. was contracted by the Michigan Works! Association to convert content for their employee orientation entitled "Michigan Works! System Orientation" for an online format. MW! A employees access the online orientation through CourseMill; the Learning Management System ITS, Inc. uses to host courses. ITS, Inc. provides learner services by enrolling learners, tracking learner progress through the program as well as providing management reporting.


Michigan Association of Computer Users in Learning:
  • The Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning (MACUL) is a non-profit organization established in 1975 dedicated to bringing educators from all levels together to share their knowledge and concerns regarding educational uses of computers and technology.
  • MACUL and Instructional Technology Service, Inc. have partnered to offer a customized, online learning opportunity for teachers that focus on core academic in a self-paced format. Two online learning series are available for MACUL members - Classroom Instruction and School Safety. MACUL members may select as many learning modules as they wish and earn between 15-45 clock hours of professional development for a discounted rate of $79 per series. Also, MACUL members can access over 200 on-line courses in a variety of formats - instructor-led, self-paced and an online learning library. Many of these courses can be taken for graduate credit through one of ITS, Inc.'s higher education partners.


OrgPro 2008:
  • ORGPRO 2008 is Michigan's premier education and networking event for organization professionals in the not-for-profit sector. The convention includes educational programming targeted to the needs of association executives, chamber executives, not-for-profit executives, staff specialists, and administrative staff, meeting professionals, volunteer leaders and vendor representatives.
